What is Five Towns Christian Fellowship?

It’s a church! But not ‘church’ in the sense of a building. Church is really people—and that’s our primary emphasis.

5TCF is evangelical in doctrine and charismatic in lifestyle. Otherwise, we’re just a bunch of ordinary folk committed to Jesus Christ and delighted to worship and serve him.

There are around 160 of us, plus a squad of kids, with numbers growing slowly but steadily.

One church, five congregations

The eldership team are committed to the concept of one church, but meeting in (eventually) five congregations—one in each of the Five Towns.

Until recently there were congregations in Castleford (the original group) and Knottingley, but because of radical developments with our premises we are currently meeting all together for a few months. The vision, however, remains unchanged, and we look forward to the development of multiple congregations in the near future.
